Tributes from Colleagues

Sad news, I heard from Linda today that Malcolm died on Saturday, 12th November
I will pass on the funeral details when they are arranged.
Mike M

Very sad news.
We worked together for many years in different parts of the world - Sweden, Finland, Oman to name but three and at one time he was my boss. Lots of happy memories.
It's a sad loss.

Malcolm was good company with a great sense of humour, always ready with a colourful quip. I remember him as a young man heavily into motorcars, where an inadvertent vehicular conjunction as the result of excessive acceleration was described as "Clog down and graunch!". Yet another character to miss…

So sorry to learn of Malcolm's passing. He will surely be missed by those who worked with him as well as others who knew him through just being friends of friends.
Bob M

I worked with Malcolm when he was a development Engineer in the 50s in room 100 at Baddow.
We had a mutual interest in cars and he was always fun to be with because he had such a huge stock of jokes.
Much later we were both working in sales departments and I particularly remember spending a very entertaining few days with him in Finland trying to sell 613 height-finders.
After retirement he sometimes played golf with us at Braxted Park and I shall miss him greatly.

Sorry to hear of Malcolm's passing.
Our paths crossed many times over my years at MRSL.
A real gentleman who will be missed.

Very sad news. He was a friend, a work colleague and a fellow Reliant Scimitar enthusiast. He will be missed.

Really sorry to hear about Malcolm, we had some good times together, he will be missed.

Malcolm was a good colleague, friend and travelling companion par excellance. He had a seemingly inexhaustible fund of jokes and anecdotes and I will always remember him for introducing me to the Arabic dessert “Om Ali” (Ali’s mums pudding). He will be missed.
Norman D

Always cheerful and exceptionally helpful and someone who would drop everything as soon as you walked into his office and a joy to travel with as I found whilst providing Support to Sales!
Certainly one of the best.

Sorry to hear of the death of Malcolm, as Norman D says Malcolm was a good colleague, friend and travelling companion par excellence. We had many a good time together. He will be sadly missed, Malcolm RIP.
Mike S

Very sad news. He was a great Guy. As a Systems Engineer I worked with him over a number of years on various Sales Projects and we had many trips overseas to Countries in the Middle East and Far East, notably to Abu Dhabi and the UAE, Oman, Thailand and the Philippines. He was a great travelling companion and as others have  pointed out, an endless source of Jokes for all occasions.  Above all, he was always cheerful !
He would always  sit up with you in the early hours of the morning, when modifying a Proposal or draft Contract.

Totally agree with all the previous tributes. Malcolm was a great guy to work with and could always find a positive side to a problem. A terrific traveling companion. One of the best.

So sorry to hear about Malcolm - such a nice person and a pleasure to both work and socialise with.
