This page consists of a set of photographs sent to us by David Bennett - the photographer was his father, the late Wg Cdr Herbert E "Benny" Bennett, who worked for AEI and then Marconi from 1968 (as Technical Manager of the Saudi Arabian SAGEU project) and later was the in-country Site Manager for Project Snake in Abu Dhabi in 1976.
The photographs show the erection of the S1020 Surveillance antenna and the arrival of the S600 height-finder and surveillance mobile vehicles.
Further technical detail will be added when available.
The thumbnail photographs are hyperlinks to larger versions.
