Tributes

From Don H
Sad news that Martin Taylor, long term colleague of many of us, died earlier this afternoon (Monday 8/1/2018), having been diagnosed very recently with inoperable pancreatic cancer. Martin was a good friend to many, who worked hard on behalf of the Company, his beloved badgers, in his garden at the Old Mill House at Bradwell, and at his music as an accomplished pianist, church organist and composer.

From Brian B
So sorry to hear that Don.  I had heard that he was not well but hadn't appreciated just how Ill he was.  He maintained a large semi wild garden trying to marry nature and mammon.  He will be missed by many both as an ex colleague and as a friend.

From Owen H
Latterly Martin worked for me, a real gentleman, pleasant to work with and since our retirements we only met up once or twice a year.  I particularly remember his excitement at finding the sheet music for the GEC March. We were always welcomed to his open garden, a magical place being a mix of formality and wild. We will miss our annual trip to the Old Mill house.
