For all those who knew him Doug Skingley died this morning (1/1/2022) in a London hospital. He was suffering from the dreaded C. RIP Doug , you will be sadly missed.

I would like to add my input to say that it is with great sorrow that I hear that Doug has passed on. He worked for me as a Contracts Officer in the Operations Dept in 1991, and you could not wish for a better self starter and competent person. Knew him from some years before, but last saw him in 2010 on my final day in the Company.
RIP Doug. A man who added value.

I too would like to convey my thoughts having heard the sad news of Doug Skingley.
I worked with Doug on many projects and always found him to be one of the best people to get something done. He was always cheerful, helpful and positive. You knew if you asked Doug for help he would find a way.
My thoughts are with his family.

I would like to add my sadness in hearing of Doug’s demise.
I remember him well for his support during S600 and Martello contracts.
Most will remember him in Contracts mainly as a progress chaser. And was he good at that and so helpful and unflappable
I knew him first as a charge-hand in the assembly section on the factory floor with early S600 contracts, trying to shoehorn in all our bought- in comms equipment. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Thanks a lot Doug!

I would like offer my condolences on the passing of Doug. I have fond memories of him work on Kawal.

I didn't know him personally, Andrew, but many of my colleagues did and thought a lot of him. My condolences for your loss.
